Country Concert

I just got the best news ever! My birthday was Saturday, and my friend Nikki is taking me to see Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley in CONCERT!!! She bought tickets at the beginning of the summer for the concert series in Indy. We have lawn seats, and I'm so excited! Brad Paisley is so great...I just love him!

So being the fan that I am...haha.. I wanted to somehow get my hands on his newest CD, so I would be able to scream out the lyrics like a star struck little girl at his concert! Then my brother was at a loss as to what he should get me for my birthday...so I said...*cough* the new Brad Paisley CD *cough*, and here I am...just finished listing to it!! It's amazing! Now I just have to learn the words...

The name of the CD is American Saturday Night, and there are 15 tracks! It has two of his hit songs right now included on it, "Then" and "Welcome to the Future." They are all so good...but I LOVE the one called "No". It's about how his grandpa always told him that "Make no mistakes, every prayer you pray gets answered, even though sometimes the answer is no." It's such a simple concept, but it hit me hard. He goes on to say that now as he looks back, ever time the answer was NO it was usually for the best. That's so true! God has our best interests in mind, and most of the time we don't understand the reasons right away, so instead of trying to figure it out... we must have FAITH and TRUST the good LORD'S plan for our lives! Somehow He works out all the detail...so sit back and enjoy the ride!

As a side note::: The season finale of the Bachelorette is on TONIGHT! Get excited.
