Bring on Senior Year!

So I was looking at my calendar today and realized that I have very few days of summer left! I know most people feel completely sick when thinking about the 09-10 school year and that it's right around the corner... However, I'm one of those nerds...the ones who get excited about school. I have one more year college left! Wait... one more year?! Until I'm officially an adult? With a real job? Yes!

Hopefully. I know there's not exactly a drought in the education department, but I pray that God puts me in the school He wants, when He wants, and I pray that I'm content wherever and whenever that may be.

I mean as much as the "real world" scares me, I'm so excited to get this last year going. I know it's going to fly by, too. I mean let's face it...the last three years obviously didn't take their time... why slow down now?! I'm ok with that though. I love my major, and get all nervous/excited when I think that I could be a teacher for the next school year...2010-2011! Whoa.

I'm starting to get a little bored around home, too. I love this place, but most of my friends are away for the summer, so I'm ready to be surrounded by college kids again. My roommate, Sara, and I are taking a bunch of the same classes, so we are going to be like two cute peas in a pod, who will eventually turn into two chickens running around with their heads chopped off once classes start. Pretty picture, eh? It will be very stressful and a lot of hard work, but I'm ready. Bring. It. On.
